this는 가까운 위치에 있는 사람이나 사물을 가리키는 지시대명사로 ‘이것은(이분은) ~이다’라고 소개할 때 쓸 수 있다. This가 주어로 올 때는 단수 취급하므로 be동사는 is를 쓴다.

e.g. This is my brother. This is Mr. John’s dog.

of는 ‘···의(어떤 사람에게 속한 또는 그와 관련된)’라는 뜻을 가진 전치사이다. ‘picture of my mom’은 ‘엄마의 사진’이란 뜻이다.

her 는 ‘그녀의’라는 뜻으로 she의 소유격이다. 소유격은 우리말의 ‘~의’에 해당한다.

wear는 ‘(옷 ·장신구 등을) 입고 착용하고 있다’라는 뜻의 일반동사이다. like는 ‘~처럼, ~와 같은’이라는 의미의 전치사이다.
