I made a deal with myself: study for 40 minutes, then take a break.
I grabbed my mom’s kitchen timer, set it, and got started.
But after just 15 minutes, I was already losing focus.
40 minutes felt too long, so I reset the timer for 20 minutes.
When it rang, I was still focused!
After I tried a few more times, I finally found the time block that works for me: 25 minutes of study and a 5-minute break.
From then on, I’ve been making study plans by using this time block.
It has made a big difference, and now I can stay on task.
