Our Journey to the Stars
Teamwork is key for space travel. Today, we will meet three people who work as a team to help astronauts and make space travel possible.
Kim
I am a training scientist. I work on the ground with astronauts. My job is to help the
astronauts prepare for space. I teach them how to use a space suit, how to exercise, and how
to work with special machines. I also practice with them every day because good training
makes the mission safe.
Ray
I am a rocket launch scientist. I work in a control room with my team. My job is to check the
rocket before it goes into space. I check the engine, the fuel, the instruments, and the weather.
I work with many people to plan the launch. I feel proud when the rocket lifts off successfully.
Sam
I am an astronaut. I train with Kim and follow the advice from Ray and my team. I wear a
special suit and travel to space. I feel excited and a little nervous, but I trust my team. Every
day, I do science experiments and collect important data.
By working together, we make space travel possible. Every job matters, and together, we can reach the stars.
