Eight-thirty p.m. on the last Saturday of March is Earth Hour. You can show your support for Earth by switching off all your lights for an hour. Do not just sit in the dark. Your family can enjoy Earth Hour with fun activities like the following:
1. Camp out or have a picnic
You can camp or have a picnic with your family in the backyard or the living room. Sharing some snacks and talking with each other in the living room is very fun. You can also go out and enjoy special activities such as a campfire.
2. Put on a shadow puppet show
Shadows can be the most exciting thing for families in a dark room. Cut out some puppet figures and begin performing behind a screen or cloth with candles. To create a story with your favorite cartoon character will also be more interesting.
3. Listen to songs and dance with family
What could be more enjoyable than some great music? Play your family’s favorite song and dance with your family. You can also play musical instruments with your family members.
