They will tell us about their high school lives.

그들은 자신들의 고등학교 생활에 대해 이야기해 줄 것입니다.

Let’s start with New York.

뉴욕부터 시작해 보겠습니다.

I’m Emily from New York City, the city that never sleeps.

저는 “잠들지 않는 도시”라고도 불리는 뉴욕시 출신의 에밀리입니다.

I study at Lincoln High School.

저는 링컨 고등학교에서 공부하고 있습니다.

Our schools are full of different cultures, just like our city.

우리의 학교는 우리 도시처럼 다양한 문화로 가득합니다.

We have the American high school system with four years: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior.

우리는 4년제로 운영되는 미국 고등학교 시스템을 따릅니다 : 신입생, 2학년, 3학년, 4학년입니다.

Living in the city, we’re close to museums, theaters, and lots of cultural events.

도시에 살기 때문에 박물관, 극장, 다양한 문화 행사와 가깝습니다.

I’m Lucas, a high school student from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and I go to Rio Grande High School.

저는 브라질 상파울루 출신의 고등학생 루카스이며, 리오 그란데 고등학교에 다닙니다.

Our high schools are not just about academics; they’re a reflection of the vibrant Brazilian culture.

우리의 고등학교는 학문적인 것 뿐만 아니라 브라질의 활기찬 문화를 반영합니다.

Our system spans three years, not four like North America.

우리의 교육 과정은 북미처럼 4년제가 아니라 3년제로 운영됩니다.

We have a variety of subjects, and many students participate in cultural events and Carnival celebrations, making it a fun place to learn about Brazil’s rich tradition.

I’m Carlos from Madrid, Spain, studying at Picasso Arts Institute.

저는 스페인 마드리드 출신의 카를로스입니다

Madrid mixes tradition and creativity.

마드리드는 전통과 창의성이 어우러진 도시입니다.

Our high school lasts four years and is quite relaxed.

우리의 고등학교는 4년제로 운영되며, 비교적 여유로운 분위기입니다.

We focus on arts and have siestas, showing our easy-going Mediterranean life.

우리는 예술에 집중하고, 시에스타(낮잠)를 즐기며, 지중해식 여유로운 생활을 보여줍니다.

It’s a great place to enjoy Spanish festivals and food.

마드리드는 스페인 축제와 음식을 즐기기에 좋은 곳입니다.

I’m Hamida from Cairo, Egypt, studying at Nile Valley High School.

저는 이집트 카이로 출신의 하미다이고, 나일밸리 고등학교에서 공부하고 있습니다.

Our high school is three years long.

우리의 고등학교는 3년제로 운영됩니다.

We study regular subjects and also learn about our religion.

Our school is like a big family, and everyone is very friendly.

I’m Isabella from Sydney, Australia, studying at Bondi Beach High School.

저는 호주 시드니 출신의 이사벨라이며, 본다이 비치 고등학교에서 공부하고 있습니다.

Sydney is famous for its beautiful beaches and many cultures.

시드니는 아름다운 해변과 다양한 문화로 유명합니다.

Our high school takes six years, from Year 7 to Year 12.

우리의 고등학교는 7학년부터 12학년까지 총 6년간 진행됩니다.

We work towards the Higher School Certificate (HSC) in the last two years.

마지막 2년은 고등학교 졸업시험인 Higher School Certificate(HSC) 를 준비합니다.

We also enjoy festivals and food from around the world.

또한 우리는 세계 각국의 축제와 음식을 즐깁니다.

I’m Rizky from Jakarta, Indonesia, studying at Jakarta International School.

저는 인도네시아 자카르타 출신의 리즈키이고, 자카르타 국제학교에서 공부하고 있습니다.

We go to high school for three years.

We focus on studies and wear uniforms.
