Talk about your experience with false memories with other
classmates.
Listen with understanding and empathy to others’ experiences,
rather than being overly critical.
Last year, my sister and I got into an argument and
I remembered all of the mean things she had said.
But later on,
I found out that she actually didn’t say those things.
I think
I created that false memory because I was so angry at her.
One time, I thought I left my cellphone at home, so I spent hours looking
for it. Later, I realized it was in my bag the whole time. I think I created
that false memory because I was rushing and feeling distracted.
