‘You’re expected to … .’가 세 박자로 이루어진 것처럼 영어에서는 음절이 아닌 강세 단위의 리듬을 사용하므로 자연스러운 영어 리듬을 연습할 필요가 있다.
의무를 나타낼 때는 보통 ‘You should ... .’를 사용하지만 자격 요건 등의 필수 조건을 표현할 때는 ‘You’re expected to ... .’를 쓴다.
