School Cafeteria Lunches Under Fire
Students avoid eating school lunches because they are unhealthy.
June 12, 2025
Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the article “School Cafeteria Lunches Under Fire” in the June 12th issue of your magazine.
Having found misinformation and bias, I decided to write this letter to you.
The article suggests that students avoid eating school lunches because they are unhealthy.
This is not completely true because school lunches are planned and prepared by professional nutritionists.
Also, the preparation and handling of food for school lunches are closely monitored by teachers, parents, and students, so there is not much to worry about.
The words used in the article are misleading and neither do the photos tell the whole story.
As a loyal reader, I urge you to avoid such misinformation and bias in the future.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Student
People write letters to the editor after reading a news or magazine
article, often commenting on the content of the article, expressing
concerns about important issues, or offering suggestions for
improvements. They are typically limited in length, and thus the main
points should be expressed efficiently in clear language.
